ShadowBall, inventors of the half rugby ball, have partnered with Gilbert, the original rugby market leader in South Africa, to strengthen rugby within the country.

 

ShadowBall’s focus on developing elite-level skills programs and demand for their ShadowBall Half Rugby Ball and Academy Program has enabled them to join forces with Gilbert and create further value for the market.

 

The two companies have announced that they will be releasing a size 5 ShadowBall under the name Gilbert Rebounder ShadowBall, available from January 2023. Customers will be able to purchase package options of the Gilbert Rebounder along with the ShadowBall Academy skills program as part of this innovative collaboration.

 

Furthermore, ShadowBall’s patented game-changing innovation – the ShadowWall – will also be included in this collaboration. This unique invention is designed to enable professionals and schools alike to benefit from pro-level coaching insights.

 

This powerful combination of an innovative training product along with professional training assistance and nationwide distribution is sure to take rugby in South Africa to a whole new level.
